Speaker test
Check whether a low tone plays on the left and right.
Press Left or Right to play a short low test tone on that browser channel.
Starts quietly with a short tone. Channel isolation is something you confirm yourself — not a hearing test or certification.
This page builds explicit left and right browser channels (not a single mono path). That does not prove speaker hardware isolation.
After each side plays, choose “only that side” or “both / wrong side / unclear.” Confirm only sides you already played.
Even with browser stereo, OS mono-audio, spatial/enhancement settings, Bluetooth or mono outputs, cable/adapters, or room crosstalk can make both sides audible. If both are heard, check those before declaring speakers faulty.

Details and limits
How to check
Press Left, confirm only-left or both/wrong; then Right and confirm the same way. Stop anytime. Success needs both expected-side confirmations.
Limits
Hearing is a user observation, not a hearing exam or certification. Browser stereo channels can still sound on both sides under OS mono, spatial audio, Bluetooth/mono outputs, cables, or acoustic crosstalk.
If something feels wrong
If silent, check system volume, the selected output device, and headset connection. If both sides sound, check OS mono/spatial settings before blaming speakers.
FAQ
Will it blast loud audio?
Initial gain is low, playback is user-started only, and each tone is short.
Stereo sounds swapped.
Check cable/device channel settings. This tool only generates browser left/right signals.
