Limits
Browsers cannot reliably separate a natural double-click from switch chatter. DPI/profile buttons may not be detectable on the web, and in some environments a side button is handled before the page so it cannot be tested.
If something feels wrong
If clicks drop, check battery, surface, receiver placement, and another USB port first.
