Details and limits

How to check

Wake the pad, take your thumbs off the sticks, press calibrate neutral, then watch deviation against the deadzone slider.

Limits

Mapping, wireless lag, battery, and surface affect readings. This does not replace manufacturer calibration.

If something feels wrong

If deviation looks high, try another USB port, a wired link, or reconnect, then calibrate again.

FAQ

Outside the deadzone means broken?

No. The threshold is only your observation aid.

Is calibration required?

It makes comparisons easier with hands off. It is not a mandatory procedure.
